Help! I don't have internet!

Help! I don't have internet!

There can be several things that happened as to why you don't have internet. Here are a few things to do in those cases.

Log into your Dashboard to check the Site Status first. To see the site Status, go to the site that is down and look at the upper right.

If you see this:

Your site is still running. Your computer may not be getting internet, but maybe the unit is able. That can mean that it's not the unit you are using that is not getting the internet, maybe it's just your computer or something in between.

However, if you see this:

Then your unit is currently down and without internet.

A simple way to try to recover your internet, is by rebooting the unit. To do this, you need to look at the back of the unit, and unplug the power cord located here:

Wait for a few seconds before plugging it back in.

It will take some time, but once you see all three (3) lights ate the front of the unit, you can check to see if you already have internet!

I did all that but I'm still not getting internet!

It's alright. We just need to add another step before trying again.

First, locate your Internet Service Provider's (ISP's) modem. Make sure all the lights are green on your modem. (you'll need to contact your ISP if there's any red light on it) You will need to reboot this device first.
Once all the lights are turned on in your modem, just reboot the your SteadyNet device again.

Oh No! It's still not getting Internet!

Please get in contact with SteadyNet as there may be other issues that needs to be investigated.
