Firewall Logs

Firewall Logs

The Firewall Log has 3 separate sections each detailing a portion of what the unit is doing or has done.

Blocked Attacks

The Blocked Attacks Section shows the different ports the unit has blocked, where the attack came from, and the number of times this particular port was attempted. The visual plays as it goes through the list of attacks it has in its logs. This attack log changes each time after it goes through 1000 entries.

System Logs

The System Log shows what the unit has done internally; whether an action has been resolved or not. Some of these display the DHCP leases, the VPN tunnels, and the rarely seen Check Firmware.

Firewall Log

The Firewall Log displays all blocked ports the unit has prevented. The timestamp on the left shows when the attempt has been made. The Message shows Where the block came from, what port it prevented, and which device it was pointed to.

You can also use the Firewall Log to create Firewall Rules for devices that you need to have certain ports or source IPs through.
